Sensory Bin Saturdays

Each Saturday I’ll be featuring a new sensory bin idea that we use in our home for the two youngest girls, ages 3 and 4.  If you aren’t familiar with sensory bins, they are sets of objects/toys that appeal to multiple senses, such as sight, smell, touch, etc.  They are great learning tools for children of all ages, but especially for little ones with short attention spans.  I have listed a few links below for you to check out some of the sites we used as inspiration for our bins.

A Purpose Driven Home

Little Hand, Big Work

Pre-School Play

Frugal Family Fun Blog

For more ideas, simply Google “sensory bins.”  There are tons of ideas out there, but I hope you’ll check back every week with us for some of our ideas, and share yours with me as well!
